Cookies
Cookies are small files saved on your phone, tablet or computer when you visit a website. This page explains the ones we use.
Last updated 17 October 2026
We put small files called cookies on your device to make this website work. With your permission, we also use a few additional cookies from Google so we can show you a map and videos and understand how the site is used.
Essential cookies (always on)
These make the website work. They do not collect information about you for marketing or tracking, and we do not ask your permission to use them.
| Name | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
| gtv_cookies | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected additional cookies | 1 year |
| kirby_session | Keeps administrators logged in to the website. It is not set for visitors | When you close your browser |
Additional cookies (only if you say yes)
We only use these if you accept them.
Google Maps. The map on the Testimonies page (the Map tab) is provided by Google. When it loads, Google may set cookies and receives your IP address and some information about your browser. See Google's privacy policy.
YouTube. Some interviews are available as a video. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), but YouTube may still set cookies when the video plays. See Google's privacy policy.
Google Analytics. This tells us, without naming anyone, how many people visit and which pages they read, so we can improve the website. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_P445JXBKTE (up to 2 years) and sends Google your IP address in shortened form and some information about your browser. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
If you reject additional cookies, the map, the videos and Google Analytics are not loaded. You can still read the testimonies and use the list. Videos can be watched on YouTube instead, through a link.
We do not use advertising cookies.
