How to use this website

Finding a testimony. Go to Testimonies. Choose List to see everyone as cards, search by name or place, or choose Map to see where people came from and select a dot. Each person has their story in parts. Choose a part to listen or watch and to read the transcript.

Listening and watching. Press play on the audio player. You can pause, move forwards and back, and change the volume. Most pages have a written transcript under the player. Videos are from YouTube and only load if you accept additional cookies; there is always a link to watch on YouTube instead.

Pictures. On a testimony part, choose a small picture to see it larger, with its caption. Use the arrow keys or the Previous and Next buttons to move through them, and Escape to close.

Making text bigger. Use your browser: press Ctrl and + (Command and + on a Mac) to zoom in. The pages are designed to work at large sizes and on phones.

The games. The games need a computer or tablet with a keyboard or mouse and a recent browser. See each game's page for what it needs and what to do if it will not load.
